Hi. Now my pcchips 810 is working with IDE boot.

I've used the ftp.cwlinux.com rom images and mkelfimage to generate a
suitable kernel. It was put on the first partition of the hdd with
'kernel' as a name.

I would like to understand how can linuxbios, find a kernel image on a
ext2 filesystem and load it? What if I user reiserfs or XFS?

About cwlinux rom: do you think it's possible to gain some more seconds
on the boot if I build a custom image of the ROM, leaving out
unnecessary options?

About sis730 framebuffer: is it possible to set a resolution like 1280x768?

thank you
as
