Weird behaviour with new config method

[YhLu]

Etherboot images (5.1.8) built with RH 9 doesn't work. I think RH 8 the
same.

Only Etherboot images(5.1.8) built with Suse 8.2 can work.

Different gcc??

we're going to have to bump minimums anyway. romcc fails for me on RH 7.3.
