    Dinar: Eliminate compiler warnings from build
    
    Fix a bunch of compiler-generated warning messages.  These fixes are
    mainly braces for grouping initializers.  These changes are not intended
    to change any code functionality.  There are two changes where function
    prototypes are added, and two cases where unused variables are
    eliminated.
