It's a good question. I have some USB fixes I want to integrate before releasing. Does anyone else know of any issues that should be fixed before a release?

Running vgabios during S3 resume. I posted the patch + "behaviour change" notice to qemu-devel. No response yet. May be nobody cares and we are good to go :)

I would like to get virtio-scsi included. It would make sense to have the QEMU side applied first, but perhaps it's not paramount now that Rusty included the specification.

Having virtio-scsi in would be great.

Xen PV-Drivers will be ready soon. I need to fix a couple of small things and do performance testing.
cheers, Gerd

A bunch of comments to this thread. Lets plan for a feature freeze in mid-March. This should give folks time to get any remaining patches submitted. We can then look for a release a couple of weeks after that. Given the vgabios changes, I think the next release should be v1.7.0.

I don't recall seeing the seabios changes for virtio-scsi. Are they ready for reviewing?

I'd like to see the ImageMagick-powered bootsplash.sh image generation script merged in.

I agree with the version number.

I posted them together with my USB+ATAPI refactoring last November. I'll repost in a few minutes.
Are they ready for reviewing?
Yes, it's smallish and self-contained.
