Windows kernel extracts various BIOS information at boot-time. The method it uses to extract SystemBiosDate & SystemBiosVersion which are then stored in: * "HKLM\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System" "SystemBiosDate" * "HKLM\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System" "SystemBiosVersion" is very hueristic and depends on data contained in the BIOS's data section.
