Flashrom BIOS Update Issue

Hello,
We're attempting to update our device using flashrom v1.1-rc2 and it does not update successfully.  Attached is the verbose report as requested by the output.

The board we're using is based on the DFI KU171/173, with Intel Kaby Lake i3-7100U CPU, Intel 100 Series Chipset Family LPC Controller/eSPI Controller (PCI id 8086:9d4e.  BIOS flash memory is Winbond W25Q128FV.

Please let me know if there is any further information required.

The BIOS is locked. You can unlock the BIOS in BIOS setup, if you use AMI BIOS.

I'm not sure, is it possible that you didn't capture the `stderr`
output? It looks like the region at 0xa00000 is write-protected.
Flashrom logs are best captured with the `-o <logfile>` parameter.

If you see some messages about PRx protections (even without -V),
these are probably the culprit.

You wrote to a public mailing list btw. Hard to tell if one is the
"intended recipient"...
