Could you please test with the latest flashrom version? Yours is a bit
outdated, maybe git clone
https://review.coreboot.org/flashrom and
make? Also, what is a chip that you are trying to access, please tell
the markings written on it. And check that your connectivity is
correct, that the wires aren't too long, etc.
