Thanks a lot for testing this so thoroughly. Hm yes, that's exactly the
same problem as described before. Does Intel's FPT work on these
boards? To me it looks as they are impossible to write in situ without
an external programmer.

Let's hope these Intel patches don't break anything. Even if they
don't fix all current problems they definitely improve things quite a
bit. Thanks everybody involved in creating and testing them!
