SST SST49LF160C not working

Hi,

I have an "SST SST49LF160C" part that I've tried to use in my epia-cn
board (Jetway).  Reading seems to work okay, but erase and write fail.
My other parts (winbond based bios savior, a winbond chip, and an "SST
SST49LF080A") all work okay in the board.

Attached are some logs.  These were taken over ssh and without the
bios savior installed.  I tried writing and erasing on the console and
see the same failure.

On IRC, Uwe mentioned there may be a problem with the southbridge only
mapping 1MB.  Also, with Uwe's advise, I tried writing a variety of
images (eg, all 0xff, all 0x00, etc.) but no luck.
