Yes there are two versions (4MB and 8MB) and I already thought about a file issue.
So I checked, double, and triple checked (md5sum and others) and I know the file is good.

Anyway this does not explain why I have errors when trying to read the running Bios :(

Double-check there isn't a separate Bios available for download for this
 blade variant. Flashrom should work then. I'm pretty sure different
sized flash needs differently packaged firmware, but am not the expert
by any means.
