Hi,
just some further explanations: The warning above informs you that
flashrom did actually not modify the contents of the flash chip. It
read the previous content, compared it to the image you gave it and
noticed that nothing needs to change and all blocks can be skipped (all
the ':S' prints). That and the positive verification is usually the
sign that flashrom works as intended and there is some other problem
(some other persistent memory or power issues).
