Thanks for the information. I will give it a try next time. The executable looks much larger than the 0.9.6.1 I have (728KB vs. 200-ish KB). I have been using flashrom with a bootable floppy disk most of the time so 700+KB seems a little too gigantic. Maybe it's time for me to dust off my old zip drives :)

we may host pre-built binaries for less open-oriented systems in the
future again and will change the respective links on our website. For
now you can use the files located here

They use the source code of 0.9.9.
