Hi,

it would be easier to help if you post the flashrom output.

However just guessing I would say you are running an old version (e.g. 1.2) of flashrom. The chip support was added last year. Since there was no new release since 1.2, probably you have to download (/clone) the current master branch manually.

Regards,

Simon

Hello and thank you for reading this email.

I was told about your software over on the OpenWRT forums and I've gone as far as installing Ubuntu on a second drive to use it, building a windows image seemed beyond me.

I'm trying to read and copy data from one nor chip to another on some access points I've bricked but sadly I'm a bit of an idiot.  I have a ch341a programmer which your software immediately found which was great, but it doesn't seem to read the MX25L12833F nor chips the access points are using does flashrom support this chip or was I informed incorrectly?

Hoping you can help

Many thanks JB
