The patch has been tested natively on FreeBSD, MinGW, Linux,
DragonFlyBSD, with gcc and clang, cross-compiled with clang on Linux for
Windows, cross-compiled with DJGPP on Linux for DOS, cross-compiled on
Linux for MinGW, natively on Linux PowerPC, ....
