Or Matt/MrChromebox. He should be lurking here, too.

This is probably a better topic for chromium-os-dev@chromium.org.

But try writing the flash using your SuzyQable:

flashrom -p raiden_debug_spi:target=AP -w image.bin

Hello,

I have a chromebook model 11" HP MK G9 EE that is bootlooping and landing in recovery. When I press TAB on the recovery screen I get "ec software sync unable to get ec image hash" as the reason for recovery. A regular Chrome OS USB restore doesn't work so I attempted to install the factory shim but got an error. It occurs after writing the flash chip and during verify, and says

Erasing and writing flash chip..

Your flash chip is in an unknown state.
Get help on IRC at irc, freenode, net (channel #flashrom) or mail flashrom@flashrom.org with FAILED: your board name in the subject line!

Is there anything I can do to get this working? I made a Suzyqable and can connect to the board over USB C from linux but but don't quite understand what to do from there. Also I am unsure if this is a hardware failure of the flash chip and how to test for that. I have attached a screenshot with the above error for reference. Please let me know if you need any more info.

Thank you!
