Bios: insyde

problem:

3/4 of my screen is some kind of splash screen
which holds a foreground position.

with both HD's disconnected, this unknown screen
blocks the boot option (ESC) screen and or
the F-10 bios screen.

this infection must be in the bios somewhere &
hence my guess to examine the bios.

there is no POST alarm....but I suspect whatever
this infection is could well bypass such checks.

the mouse works but stays behind whatever this
foreground screen is.  I can drag (if I can find the
title bar) and drag windows into the working part of
the screen.

whatever this screen is it defys description.  If you
have a pretty good imagination, there might be a breast
with a nipple on the lower right corner......but there\
isn't any head attached.
