    I would put this under dev_guide. […]

    I really want to keep "how to add docs" in the root menu, to make it as visible as possible and less clicks for people to open it. Contributing docs typically gets way less enthusiasm from people vs contributing code, so I want to make it as easy as possible, to avoid the scenario:
     "I wanted to update a doc but couldn't find the instructions
      how to do it" // this should never happen!
      
    I will also add a link in dev guides, as we discussed a How To section, it will link to this page.
