I'd like to have flashrom v1.3 tagged before removing the Makefile.
I mostly put this up because it was ~2 minutes of work and is a sure-fire way to get a conversation started :-)
We'd still have both build systems (with different sets of usage scenarios) in 2030 without some action, there's a start of a TODO list for meson to be as capable as the make based system, a discussion which build system to keep on the list, and more visibility that this area of the tree needs attention.
Besides, Jenkins says no.
