Hi there.
I just stumbled across this project when looking for an option to decrease boot times on a HP E-Vectra. The computer in question has a custom motherboard with an intel 810e chipset. Since the bios is from hp it is very limited, and not of much use.
I notice that many boards with an 810 chipset are supported. Are these compatible? The only difference I know of is that the 810 supports edo while the 810e does not.
Is it worth my time attempting to port a bios for this machine?

It should be pretty easy to setup the i810e. 99% of the work has already been done for you, Thanks to Corey & Uwe.
Thanks - Joe
I will be very happy to have a linuxbios for the E-Vectra motherboard because i would like to use this motherboard for a embeded projet and the original bios is really to long to boot.
Are you sure the linux bios can speed up the boot time and that is not coming from the hardware used on this board.
To worry Rockwallaby you will not woth your time to port a bios for this machine !!!
Thx in any away
