FWH is virtually obsolete.  At least, no one is using it for new
designs.  Have you seen any _new_ designs with LPC/FHW lately?

Yes, most Via C7-based Mini/Nano/Pico-ITX boards use LPC flash.

SPI NOR flash support in flashrom would be far more important
for coreboot to be relevant in the future.
