I have been trying to get my M57SLI Rev2.0 SPI running LinuxBios for a 
while, but could not get the chip

I have been offered a batch of SST25LF040A brand new unprogrammed for US 
$3 each. If this a good price and a way to go?  Smaller quantities like 
3 or 4 come pre-programmed  here
