Thanks! In both cases the flash chip is detected correctly by
flashrom. This means that at least part of the path to the flash chip
works correctly in both cases.
I note that you're using a 64 Mbit flash chip, it's possible that
coreboot actually doesn't set up that large decoding for the flash
chip. There's been talk about a patch for this recently. Maybe you
can look at gerrit and test anything that looks relevant?
And what exactly is the failure mode, when trying to flash while
booted with coreboot?
