I guess I could agree with that, but is there some sort of warning we can put somewhere. A Wiki would be nice. I spent WAY too many hours trying to figure this out. :) I just wanted a very simple no thrills, boots in less that 2 seconds kernel.

As I learn more about this stuff, I am really starting to see the insanity that the modern PC BIOS has become.. DMI, PCI 3.0, PIRQ, MPTABLE, ACPI, etc.. Most of it not needed but being supported for legacy reasons.

Here is my boot log - coreboot -> kernel with FILO being quiet.
X Hangs when I try to start it. I don't have logs yet. But I think it might have something to do with the PCI memory regions being different/disabled along with the prefetch windows all being disabled. I don't know just yet, but that is what I'll be looking at first on Monday. Any hints as to where the regions are supposed to be setup?

Another note, the SB600 is not detecting a codec. So, I plan on looking at that also.
