What's wrong with our way of handling nvram again? And what's the context of your statements above?


Afaict:
- coreboot does validate the nvram before using it.
- coreboot should not try to use nvram if it is not valid.
- nvramtool never _asks_ the user. It's not an interactive tool. Instead it will fix checksums as soon as you start setting options.
