At the Detroit conference someone mentioned that there can is a place to put proprietary code that is not for checking in to the public coreboot repo.

I could not find this information on the coreboot website. Maybe I was looking in the wrong places or using the wrong keyword.

Can some please enlighten me as to where to put such code. I believe it was a speicif name folder in the root of the repo.
