An h2 tag will also create a TOCTree entry but if it is a markdown link like:

## (Link to another page)[anotherPage.md]

the parser will not replace the md extension with html. I cannot figure out why and therefore do not know which project to submit the bug to. Not sure if you wanted to mention that here.
