Patch Set #1:
The Numeric Co-Processor Error Register is an integral part of a 387-compatible FPU (AKA Math Coprocessor), and it's identified specifically by a PNP0C04 EISAID. While may not used in 64-bit kernels, 32-bit kernels that identify the 387-compatible FPU with ACPI need PNP0C04. Any ACPI-enabled kernel that wants to know about decoded resources also should be told about the IO space resource being unavailable for other uses.
