when updating this patch i went through all x86 CPUs and SoCs and verified that all end up selecting this option, so i always include this. the same situation is already in place for the PAE support, so i also dropped the Kconfig option. if you think that i shold keep that Kconfig option, i'll set it to y, so that not all CPUs/SoCs need to select that option
