An h2 tag will also create a TOCTree entry but if it is a markdown link like:

## (Link to another page)[anotherPage.md]

the parser will not replace the md extension with html. I cannot figure out why and therefore do not know which project to submit the bug to. Not sure if you wanted to mention that here.

It's related to recommonmark, but it's not bug. The auto_toc_tree only works on

• (Link)[...] and 1. (link)[...]
