It would be nice to add that to the release notes. Having a 'graveyard' of hardware for which support was dropped could be useful.

Sound like a good idea to me. Can you point me to the page where things get collected for the release note? I only remember that being some etherpad

Couldn't that graveyard be a script that starts rummaging the depths of the git repo? I guess it would be much more future-proof than any manual process.
