How do I install a patch for the w520 to use Displayport/VGA output?
I've installed Coreboot to a number of my Thinkpad machines, but I have no experience installing patches post installation. Is it possible to put it in layman's terms so that I can get these working, I really really want to use my projector, so this would be so much help! I installed coreboot on my w520 myself so if it's similar to that process I believe I can get it done. Thanks Coreboot team.

In the linked wiki you have the two links you can click on. One is https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/25999/ and the second is: https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/26114 On the top left you can read "Merged". This mean its now part of coreboot. You can see in the list when its been added to coreboot. The latest of both patches is been merged on 21.Jun.2018. If you use coreboot master from a later state, then both patches are already inside.
