Usually there where two variants of pinout. The newer one fits the most mainboards. You need to plug it to a header on the f2a85-m board. (pin1 to the color stripe on the cable) I think it is called "COM header" in the manual. 2) null modem cross cable The header from 1) needs to be plugged to 2) This cable is very common.
