There could be a problem. Some BIOS vendors claim all ACPI tables belong
to them, not to the mainboard vendor.

Please see above. We have some code to create our own FACP tables, maybe
we should use that?

Wow, this is really GREAT! Thanks to you and to VIA for working on CN
support.


I think we can merge this (without the ACPI stuff) once one of the other
people working on CN support have commented.
